Busy times!

There is no end to this rain! Yesterday was the first sunny day in a loong time. The weather has not bothered me so much though as I have been very buys. It is time to finalize the upcoming tours starting in November and carrying on trough December and March. All the final details has to be put into places and checked. And then I start planning tours for next season already, have a few lined up that needs to be organized.
I also started my part time work at the airport and I must say it is a lot to remember, it always looks so easy when one is on the other side of the desk, but sitting there having a passanger infront of you is another story, many things to think about and to remember to smile:)....luckily I like to smile so that is no problem for me.
In beginning of December I will travel to South Africa guiding a group, and in spring we are planning to go on holiday to NY! Looking forward to that.

Tomorrow is Liinas 5th birthday, she is very excited, so tomorrow we have a party for friends/family, big and small, and on saturday she has a girlsparty, she has invited 8 girlfriends over, so Im busy planning activities at the moment....

Have a great day further and love to you all!

Saturday walk

Me and the girls went for a walk, to see the horses, sheep, and walk trough the forest and see what it looks like this time of the year. And now they sit and draw what they saw during our walk ....lets see what masterpieces we will get...I might show you:)
This week has been hectic, I started my new job at the airport and I must say I have a lot to learn, luckily I have a course in Helsinki whole next week, after that I will know how to send people to right destinations...maybe that is not the biggest issue...I think the luggage is:)
Here a funny clipp ,watch this: Come Fly with me :)

Have an enjoyable weekend!

Beautiful September!

There is something special with this time of the year. The days the sun is shining there is a certain freshness in the air, probably from the rain the days before...:) I went for a morning jogg and sat for a while on our terass, and the view is the one you see in the picture, quite calming, no cars driving by, only forest...it is good every now and to sit down and think of what we have around us, and enjoy it.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

My plans

Today feels good:) I have had a wonderful weekend, on saturday the girls went to a birthday party and meanwhile I went for a run, in the late afternoon /evening we visited our neighbours Annika& Kenneth and started with sauna ,then dinner, wine and sat outside in their glasveranda until late after midnight. Yesterday afternoon we drove into town and visited some of the playparks, the girls enjoyed it very much. One doesnt need to do big things to give the children a great time. Afterwards we went to a restaurant to have dinner before coming home. It was a good evening, as the weather was perfect, no wind, a smell of fall in the air, sun shining.

Today I will go to the university to talk to my professor about my future studies, lets see how much I still have to do and when I start. And after that I will go to the airport and start my new work at the airport check-in. I like travelling, so this airport environment suits me, I like seeing people on their way, and coming from somewhere....lets see what I say in a months time when I have heard many of these passangers too:)

And in only 3 months it is time for me to go to South Africa again for a tour. I go alone, Nico and the girls will stay behind and carry on with the everyday life here, and when I come back I will bring Nicos sister with me, she will come to Finland over christmas. I myself love a traditional christmas, and after being in the SA sun last 3 years, I cant wait to have a white christmas with lots of candle lights and christmas carrols, and a proper christmas dinner:) That is something to look forward to!

Have a wonderful start to this week!
