Fredags Mys!

It is friday and our normal life is starting to take shape again after the summer. Girls are back in dagis, Liina started preschool this year , she was a bit nervous the first morning but as she got there and there where many of her friends her butterflies where gone, she goes to dagis with as mile. Yes, our children loves to go to daycare/preschool. One day it was raining and Nico was home so we thought the girls can stay home, but , NOOOO, we want to dagis!:) now its just a question of getting them up at 7am instead of 9am, new routines coming  after a summer without routines, familylife!
Im also starting to write a weekly dinner list and who is cleaning what and when in this household so we can keep some form of order in the house, at the moment the whole house is a toyzone... and wardrobe as I can see clothes everywhere I look!
That is the thing...  one always thinks everyone else has a spotless clean house and that only our house is like this...one almost dreads for the times when one hears a car coming unexpected into the driveway, but then again, its nice to get unexpected visitors, and I realized that everyone has a bit of a mess every now and then:)

Last weekend we had a goodbye party here on `the hill´, one family is moving away so on saturday evening we had a get together, sat outside, everyone brought food and kids played together, a nice evening with neighbours. We are happy to say we live amongst wonderful people!

The weekend before we had a garage sale here on our hill, I brought up the idea and we where about 15 families in the end involved. We did not sell that much, mostly baby clothes and some books and toys, but the event was fun, and afterwards we sat down and had coffe all together..and the leftover sausages we sold:) The local newspaper also came by and when they heard who came up with the idea they came to interview, so on monday morning me and a few of my neighbours where in the newspaper, first page:)

From here onwards Im busy, still planning lots of  tours to southern africa. In end of September Im going as a tourleader to Croatia, we are going on a sailingboat in the Adriatic Sea, that will be interesting and beautiful.
After that  Im only home for a month and in beginning of November I´m going to  guide my own planned tour to Namibia/Vic Falls and after that I will do some site inspections in South Africa, visit some game lodges, hotels etc...and start my following tour from Cape Town...a whole month away from home and family, that is the downside with my job, being away from family:(, but otherwise I love to do what Im doing. I could never ever only sit in an office and stare at a computer screen day out and day in, that would soak all the energy out of me. To be on tour, to see people enjoy what I have planned for them, to breath in the happenings around me,be on a go,share my experiences, that is part of who I am. So, beginning of December Im back home again, and immediately after christmas Im on my way again to South Africa to do the next tour. I do must say that the interest for trips to south africa and neighbouring countries is growing year after year, good for me:) There is so much to see, southern africa has so much to offer and many people fall in love with it after being there once, so many of my clients are coming back again..and again:)

And... it is friday evening, girls are having candy day, lying in bed eating candy and watching a movie. I also got a few movies  so it will be cosy clothes, chips and movie tonight:) That is fredags mys!

Love to you all!
